Terms And Conditions Of Use

By placing an order with shop.boojummex.com and providing us with your Personal Information, you agree to your Personal Information being collected, held, used and disclosed as set out in our Privacy Policy. Our full Privacy Policy can be found at www.boojummex.com/privacy

When you place an order with us online using the shop.boojummex.com system, we also collect additional Personal Information from you such as:

  • Your IP address as part of your order
  • Your feedback
  • Your previous order information

In using the shop.boojummex.com system, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your personal details, password and payment details. You agree to accept full responsibility for all your activities on our website and online ordering.

If you order online we will send you an email confirming the details of your order. Boojum reserves the right to refuse service, terminate your access to the website or online ordering, remove or edit any content or cancel your order/s at their sole discretion and without prior notice to you.


Placing an order

To place an order, follow the below procedure:

  • Visit the order page.
  • Select the meal kit type you would like to order.
  • On the meal kit product page select the quantity of meal kits you would like to order up to a maximum of 10 kits then select order now.
  • You will then have the option to continue shopping or continue to the checkout process.
  • To checkout select the checkout button.
  • Review your basket then select how you would like to receive your order, shipping or store pick up.
  • Select the date you would like to receive your meal kit(s) then select the delivery time slot.
  • After you have finished your selections, proceed to check out' to review order and complete your payment information.

Credit card details

Boojum does not store any credit card details for online orders.

Boojum Vouchers

Boojum printed vouchers are currently only able to be redeemed when ordering in-store (i.e. not via the Boojum Click n' Collect or shop.boojummex.com system). On occasion for marketing purposes we may have discount codes available on shop.boojummex.com.

Delivery

Our Boojum At Home meal kits are available for delivery across all of Northern Ireland.

We work with DPD on delivering your order, and once the order is collected by DPD, we provide tracking info for each package so you can track your meal kit’s journey right up until the point that it arrives on your doorstep.

Please note:

  • Shipping costs are £4 per meal kit to NI addresses
  • A valid mobile number is required for delivery communications from DPD
  • We will endeavour to ensure your meal kit arrives on your selected date between the hours of 9am and 7pm.

Currently, all our deliveries with DPD are contactless. On the morning of delivery, you will receive a notification or email providing a one-hour delivery window.

If no-one is home, the driver will aim to leave the parcel on the doorstep or with a neighbour, ensuring it’s protected from the elements wherever possible.

Each delivery is sent fully tracked so that you can monitor every step of your package’s journey from depot to your doorstep. Once our delivery partner picks up your order, we’ll send you an email with tracking info straight to your inbox.

Store Collection

Orders must be collected from the store you select. So that your food is as fresh as possible we make your order as close to the time of collection as possible, therefore your order will not be ready prior to your selected collection time.

You may NOT change the store where you want to collect your order from once an order has been placed and accepted. If you make an error in ordering, see below.

Boojum is not obliged to refund your order or fulfil your order at any store other than the store the order was directed to.

Should you place an order and for some reason the order is not received by the nominated store, you will need to show a copy of your order confirmation (either printed or on mobile phone) in order for the store to fulfil that order.


Errors in ordering

Once the order has been placed changes cannot be made online. Once an order has been placed, it is your obligation to contact us at athome@boojummex.com to determine whether or not the order can be changed.

The decision whether or not the order can be changed is at the absolute discretion of the customer service team. If changes to the order are allowed, any difference in payment will need to be made in advance of any change.

Should you place an order and select the incorrect store, the store you ordered from is not obliged to refund the order or fulfil the order at any other store.


Standard order cancellations

Order cancellations cannot be made on the shop.boojummex.com system. Once an order has been placed, it is your obligation to contact athome@boojummex.com to determine whether or not the order can be cancelled. Boojum does not accept any liability if you decide to cancel your order.

Cancellation queries should be emailed directly to athome@boojummex.com. If you cancel your order a cancellation fee may apply.


Subscription Service

Our subscriptions service consists of an initial charge followed by recurring period charges as agreed to by you. By entering into this agreement, you acknowledge that your subscription has an initial and recurring payment feature and you accept responsibility for all recurring charges prior to deactivation or cancellation.

By subscribing, you agree to pay recurring periodic (As per your chosen frequency) subscriptions for an indefinite time until deactivated or cancelled by you or us.

Changes or cancellations will not incur any additional charges or penalties. You can subscribe again at any time following cancellation, but we reserve the right not to permit re-subscription where we have previously elected to terminate a subscription by you.

 

Subscription Deliveries

If you’re a subscription customer, please be aware that your order is automatically placed on the anniversary of the date that your subscription began and your meal kit will be delivered on the next available delivery day after that date.

We operate a two working day lead time on all orders, meaning that delivery will take place on the next available delivery date at least two days after your order is placed. For more information on delivery, please see https://shop.boojummex.com/pages/delivery.

Please note that we only offer delivery Tuesday-Friday, so in the event that your subscription renewal falls over a weekend, your meal kit won’t be delivered until the following Tuesday.

You can update and change your subscription renewal date, pause your subscription or cancel altogether at any time by visiting the Customer Portal at https://shop.boojummex.com/pages/my-subscriptions. Please note that you must change your subscription prior to your renewal date, orders which have already been processed on the renewal date and fulfilled can’t be amended.


Subscription Price Changes

Product pricing and delivery charges are liable to change at any time, but subscription customers will continue to be charged the same amount as when their subscription began until the subscription is cancelled.

Discount codes, vouchers or gift cards can not be redeemed in return for a discount on a subscription.

 

Cancel My Subscription

You can deactivate, cancel, or update your subscription at any time, simply by visiting the Customer Portal at https://shop.boojummex.com/pages/my-subscriptions and following the instructions on site. Changes or cancellations will not incur any additional charges or penalties. You can subscribe again at any time following cancellation.

Please note that orders that have already been processed and fulfilled cannot be cancelled or refunded.

We reserve the right at our discretion not to renew your subscription or permit re-subscription at any time without giving any reasons for our decision. Such reasons may include, but are not limited to, suspicion of fraud.


Refunds

Each kit is prepared to order in our kitchens by our experienced chefs using the freshest, restaurant-quality ingredients and then delivered by our delivery partner DPD. We will endeavour to make sure that a high quality meal kit arrives on your selected date.

Once your kit has been delivered or collected from store, simply unpack the ingredients and keep them refrigerated until you’re ready to cook. Please contact us at this point if you feel there are items missing or an issue with items received. A delay in contacting us may result in no refund being provided.

Ability to accept Terms and Conditions of Use

You warrant that you agree to these Terms and Conditions of Use voluntarily and you have full capacity to agree to them.


Termination

Boojum reserves the right to terminate your ability to order via the online ordering system, immediately and without notifying you in advance, should we decide you are in breach of any of these Terms and Conditions.
